THE DISPATCH

BlackRock just published the demand thesis for products it already sells. Read it as a roadmap, not as research.

The Event

BlackRock published research on October 6, 2026 linking AI adoption to digital asset demand. The argument has two halves.

The first is transactional. Agents operating at machine speed need payment rails built for that speed.

The second is about savings. The note points to a possible AI-native monetary setup where "stablecoins serve as transactional money and bitcoin as a store of value".

The evidence cited is behavioural. Research the note references found AI models showing a preference for bitcoin and stablecoins.

The broader framing goes further. As agentic systems get more capable, digital assets become more central to how AI pays for things.

That covers three categories in the note's own words. Stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, and the native tokens that settle blockchain transactions.

No product was announced. No fund, no filing, no date.

Why It Shifts Territory

Start with who is speaking. This is not a crypto research shop making a crypto argument.

BlackRock manages about $60 billion of Circle's stablecoin reserves. CFO Martin Small said so on the second-quarter earnings call.

It runs BUIDL, a tokenized Treasury fund holding roughly $2.7 billion. It launched BSTBL and BRSRV on August 3, the second built specifically as a reserve vehicle for stablecoin issuers.

Now read the note again. Every category it names is a category BlackRock already has a product in.

That is not a scandal. It is how research from a manufacturer works, and it tells you the roadmap more reliably than a press release would.

The structural point is the one worth keeping. If agents transact, somebody has to hold the float they transact with.

Float needs a reserve manager. Reserve management is a fee on assets, charged forever, with no market risk attached.

BlackRock is not forecasting agent demand. It is describing the customer it intends to serve.

Free Stock: Economist calls it “the world’s most important machine.”

Put $500 here before Dec. 30

It's a tiny chip, loaded on top of Nvidia's processors…

That's why these chips are sold out through 2027.

The top AI companies, like Google, Amazon, OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceXAI, Microsoft, and more will spend over $2 trillion a year on the AI Master Key.

That's nearly 1,200% growth…

In this video, I'll give you the name of a key stock in this space…

For FREE.

This company makes the machines behind these valuable chips.

There's only 314 in the entire world.

And every single one is tracked on the level of a nuclear warhead.

P.S. It's important you act before December 30. That's when a big announcement is coming from the president. And it could send the stocks in this space soaring.

One half of this thesis has evidence. The other half does not.

The stablecoin half is already observable. Coinbase's x402 protocol has processed more than 165 million agent payments worth about $50 million.

Roughly 99% of those settled in USDC. Average payment size is around 30 cents.

That is real machine-to-machine money movement, and it is dollar-denominated. The transactional claim stands on data.

The bitcoin half rests on something much softer. A model expressing a preference in a test is not demand.

Models return preferences shaped by their training data. Asking one what it would save in measures the corpus, not the market.

There is a deeper problem with the framing. An agent does not own anything.

Its principal does. A treasury agent allocating to bitcoin is a human policy decision executed by software, which is the same decision humans have always made.

So the store-of-value claim needs a different proof. It needs a corporate or fund mandate that delegates allocation to a model and discloses the result.

Nobody has published one. Until somebody does, this half is a thesis with a product attached.

What Already Exists

The gap between the note and the market is narrower than it sounds.

Robinhood opened agentic trading accounts in May and passed 150,000 by late September. Those held more than $100 million as of its July filings.

Marex said on August 10 it will accept bitcoin and ether as derivatives margin. The CFTC letter permitting that dates to December 2025.

Visa, Mastercard and Ant International announced a Know Your Agent framework in mid-September. Mastercard expanded Agent Pay again this week.

The Fed proposed its stablecoin rules on September 24. The affiliate yield clause inside them decides how much idle cash sits in agent-reachable balances.

So the plumbing is partly built. What is missing is the mandate layer, and that is the piece BlackRock is positioning for.

Nvidia just bet $7 billion on a new type of AI

Here’s how to profit..

While pundits on CNBC and Fox Business argued about the “AI bubble” for most of the year…

Nvidia invested more than $7 billion into a radical “light-speed” device…

That’s about to shatter the limitations of AI as we know it…

Bill Gates put more than $200 million of his own money into it…

And BlackRock, Vanguard, Morgan Stanley, even Norway’s trillion-dollar sovereign wealth fund, are all moving money to prepare for what’s coming.

Already, stocks involved with this “light-speed” device are breaking out 133%, 217%, even 320%…

But it’s just getting started.

In fact, Wall Street insider Jason Bodner — the same man who called Nvidia at $4.50 — says this radical device is about to launch a whole new wave of AI winners…

And to prove it, he’s giving away his #1 stock involved with it — for free.

Jason also flagged 10 popular AI stocks he believes will get crushed once this radical device goes mainstream. Click here to get the full list before it’s too late..

Scoreboard

Tokenized real-world asset AUM is the metric this points at. The line has sat above $38 billion for five weeks.

A demand thesis does not move it. A mandate would.

On-chain settlement volume is the one with evidence already. Monthly stablecoin transfer volume ran $6.82 trillion as of September 30, per tokenized asset market data.

Crossover moves gets no entry. Research is not a deployment.

Watch for the first disclosed agent treasury mandate. A named fund or corporate that lets a model allocate cash, with results published, converts this note into a data point.

Watch BRSRV's balance too. It opened near $50 million on August 5, which is still the gap between the strategy and the flows.

Watch the x402 asset mix most of all. If agent payments stay 99% in dollar tokens, the bitcoin half of this thesis stays unproven.

Territory

Territory: +machines on the thesis, +incumbents on the product.

Reserve management for agent-held float is the fee pool being claimed, and the claim is being made by the firm that already runs it.
