AGENT WATCH

Anthropic filed its S-1 on a Monday. The next morning it plugged seven new data feeds into the tool that replaces advisory prep staff.

The Capability

The announcement landed on October 27, 2026 at Schwab’s IMPACT conference in Boston. Seven new connectors for Claude for Financial Advisors.

The names matter more than the count. CAIS, Conquest Planning, FINNY, Invesco, MSCI, Jump and 55ip.

That last one is a JPMorgan Asset Management unit. Hold it for a moment.

The product itself launched on September 14, 2026. It is a plugin for Claude Cowork, the agentic mode in the desktop app.

It connects to software advisors already run. Schwab, BlackRock, Vanguard, Addepar, Envestnet, iCapital, Orion, SS&C Black Diamond, Wealthbox, Wealth.com and Zocks were the first eleven.

Eight workflow skills ship with it. Pre-meeting preparation, portfolio rebalance review, estate and tax briefing, compliance and AI policy review.

Then post-meeting notes and follow-up, alternative investments briefing, advisor onboarding and prospect intake. Read that list as a job description, because it is one.

The distribution is the reason this travels. Schwab is the first RIA custodian to offer it, serving more than 16,000 independent firms.

The October wave adds depth rather than breadth. CAIS brings alternative investment data to a network of more than 65,000 advisors.

Invesco feeds portfolio intelligence. MSCI plugs in risk and index data.

Now the JPMorgan piece, which is the sharpest signal in the batch. 55ip will push its ActiveTax technology into Claude.

An advisor can run tax-aware transition scenarios from a JPMorgan engine inside an Anthropic window. That is a competitor’s proprietary tooling living inside a third party’s interface.

Hype Filter

Claimed

Anthropic says the tool preps meetings, drafts follow-ups, reviews portfolios and flags compliance gaps. The connectors promise live data from custodians and asset managers.

CAIS says its own agent now operates inside Claude for alternative investment research. Agents calling agents, with the advisor at the top.

Demonstrated

The survey evidence is real and it is survey evidence. AssetMark published results on September 15, 2026.

More than half of advisors using AI reported saving four or more hours a week. That is over 200 hours a year.

Self-reported time savings are the softest measure in this rubric. Nobody checks whether the work was better.

The harder data point is a single case. One US advisory practice phased out its paraplanner role entirely, per Financial Planning.

Meeting prep fell from four to six hours down to under one. That is one firm, not a trend.

Adoption is broad and shallow. Eighty-five percent of advisors have adopted some form of AI tool, per the same AssetMark work.

Some form of AI tool covers a chatbot and a full workflow replacement equally. The number is large and tells you little.

Investing legend: “My most important warning yet”

I have publicly predicted six major American crashes, before each one happened.

I need to speak with you directly.

And one of the most important warnings any American family will receive before the next great financial crisis hits this country.

I'm Dr. Martin D. Weiss.  I'm a Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and New York Times best-selling author.

And for 55 years I have run Weiss Ratings … the only 100% conflict-free, independent financial rating agency in America.

We are paid by no one we rate. We answer to no one but our subscribers.

And in the 55 years since I issued my first public warning before a financial crisis, I have publicly predicted six major American crashes, before they happened.

And the biggest danger right now is NOT just another stock market crash.

The biggest danger is NOT only a major bank failure.

Rather, it's a chain reaction of crashes and failures that could cause a global freeze in the financial markets. And it starts here:

Good luck and God bless!

Still Human

Claude cannot sign off on a trade. It cannot make a buy or sell call.

Fiduciary judgment stays with the advisor. Anthropic’s own launch post frames the tool as prep work, not advice.

That framing is a legal position as much as a product description. The line between preparation and recommendation is where the next supervisory question sits.

The client relationship stays human too. No connector replaces the conversation where someone decides to stay or go.

Wall Street Function It Touches

The paraplanner. Average pay about $65,000 a year, per ZipRecruiter as of September 2026.

The role exists to pull data, build meeting packets and draft follow-up notes. Every skill in the plugin maps to a task that job does today.

Junior advisors face the same squeeze one rung up. Their first years are prep and research.

The tool does not cut the advisor. It cuts the ladder below the advisor.

That is the pattern this rubric keeps finding. Credit memos at DBS, research models at AlphaSense, alert review at FIS.

In each case the senior role survives and the training path underneath it disappears. Nobody budgets for the apprenticeship they are removing.

On the scoreboard this is fee pool compression, and the pool is a salary line at thousands of small firms rather than one desk at a bank.

Buffett's Final Warning: "The Dollar Is Going to Hell"

On May 3rd, 2025, Warren Buffett looked at his shareholders for the last time and said:

"The dollar is going to hell."

The man who defended the US dollar for 60 years just told you it's done.

Ray Dalio agrees.

The founder of Bridgewater Associates ($150 billion AUM) calls it a "debt death spiral."

$38.4 trillion in debt.

Adding a trillion every 60 days. A billion every 8 hours.

The math doesn't work anymore.

If the dollar falls, most people will get hurt badly.

But there's a specific asset class and investment system that actually thrives when the dollar collapses.

It's called the ABN System.

It adapts the principles of Blackrock's investing strategy so everyday investors can apply it to protect themselves.

Over 4,500 members have already implemented this system.

If you have $50k+ exposed to the dollar right now (including your 401(k), stocks, real estate, savings), you need to pay attention.

Realistic Time Horizon

This is not a future threat. The pipes are live and Schwab’s 16,000 firms can connect today.

The binding constraint is habit, not capability. Advisors have to change a workflow they built over years.

The ones who do will not hire the next paraplanner. The ones who do not will watch margins compress against those who did.

Adoption data suggests the early phase has passed. At 85% using some AI tool, the holdouts are already the minority.

Call it twelve to eighteen months for visible impact on paraplanner headcount. The direction is settled and only the speed is open.

Watch the recommendation line. The moment a connector output is treated as advice rather than preparation, this becomes a supervisory product rather than a productivity one.

Watch hiring posts, not press releases. A drop in paraplanner listings is the first hard number anyone will get.

Scoreboard

Crossover moves takes three entries in a single announcement. JPMorgan, Invesco and MSCI each put proprietary technology or data inside a third-party AI platform on the same day.

That is the structural read. Asset managers are competing for position inside an interface none of them control.

Direction is up, and the mechanism is distribution. Whoever owns the window the advisor works in sets the terms for everyone feeding it.

Territory

Territory: +machines on the prep layer, +incumbents on the advice.

The paraplanner salary pool compresses first, while fiduciary sign-off and the client relationship stay with the advisor.
